Born and raised in the United States, Kenya is as rough and rowdy as they come, with a temper and sense of humor quick to flare with little provocation. Despite being of Japanese descent he spent most of his life haunting the streets of New Jersey, causing more trouble than he knew how to get out of with little thought to the strain it put on his poor mother. He would have been quite content to spend the rest of his life steadily turning her hair gray with his antics, if not for fate stepping in and throwing a hurdle in his path. Faced with a new kid on the block as well as a new rival in his early teens, Kenya turned the full force of his attention and pranks on the intruder, a pain in his ass that later became his best friend and middle school sweetheart.
His favorite pastimes include playing his Bass guitar, annoying the hell out of his housemate, Saeki Kojirou, and slacking off. Although, he was a troublemaker in his youth, lately the bleached-blonde spends his time attempting to stay focused on his studies thanks to an incident in Kobe that introduced him to the harsh reality of Kuranosuke Shiraishi being thoroughly disgusted with him, something that had never happened to him before in all their childhood rumbles.
